A third of all weapon incidents in the Bromley borough happened in one ward, according to the police figures.

The latest Met Police statistics for November show overall there were 18 reports of people possessing weapons.

Penge and Cator was the ward with the most incidents with six being reported to police.

The previous November there had not been any recorded incidents of weapon possession in the ward.

Bromley Town was second on the list for last November, with four incidents.

In general there was not much weapon crime reported in the borough as opposed to anti-social behaviour which you can read about here.

Below is a breakdown of police wards in Bromley, ranked in order of the number of possession of weapons cases for November.

2. Bromley Town - 4

3. Copers Cope, Cray Valley East, Cray Valley West, Chelsfield and Pratts Bottom, Hayes and Coney Hall, Farnborough and Crofton, Kelsey and Eden Park, Orpington - 1

There were no reports in Mottingham and Chislehurst North, Chislehurst, Clock House, Crystal Palace, Bickley, Petts Wood and Knoll, West Wickham, Darwin, Bromley Common and Keston or Plaistow and Sundridge.
