A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Michael Jonas in Bromley.
He was arrested on Saturday, November 4, and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Police were called at 7.22pm on Thursday, November 2 to Betts Park in Penge to reports of 17-year-old Michael having being attacked.
They found him at the scene with stab wounds, and gave him first aid before the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance arrived.
He was pronounced dead at the scene just after 8.15pm.
A post mortem exam carried out on Friday confirmed the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest and haemorrhage.
