An Orpington man has launched a campaign to reunite a remote control toy helicopter with its owner.
Steve Sangster, of Broomhill Road, found the chopper in Shortlands on Wednesday morning not far from Highfield Infants School on Highfield Drive.
The 32-year-old bank worker is keen to reunite the helicopter with its owner as he believes it may have been an expensive Christmas gift.
He told News Shopper: “It’s well over a foot long. I looked it up online and I think it’s worth about £150.
“It’s still in perfect condition. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with it at all. It must have fallen from some height.”
The flashing toy is branded with a ‘Volcanoes’ logo and has ‘RC Helicopter’ written along the side.
