A woman became trapped under a bus yesterday
Horror unfolded in a Greenhithe street when an elderly woman became trapped under a bus moments after getting off it.
Police say the woman, in her 80s, suffered "life-threatening injuries" in the incident in Knockhall Road, at about 12pm yesterday.
Fire engines, the ambulance and air ambulance all attended the incident from where the woman was rushed to hospital where she remains.
A spokeswoman for Kent Police appealed for witnesses, and said the victim had been a passenger on the 480 bus who had got off.
