A2 closed near Dartford due to man threatening to jump from Dartford Heath bridge
THE A2 near Dartford has been closed due to a man threatening to jump from the Dartford Heath bridge.
Emergency services are believed to be at the scene in Heath Lane and police are thought to be talking to the man.
And on Twitter Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer tweeted: "Careful on a2 tweeps! A suicidal geezer is hanging over the edge of a bridge! #egg"
It is not yet known when the A2 will be reopened.
