KIT your children out in Halloween fancy dress.
Crafting home-made costumes is a great way to get into the spooky spirit.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Spider:
Create long spindly legs by filling six pairs of old black opaque tights with paper, cotton wool or tissue. Attach these with safety pins to an entirely black outfit. Finish off the look with some face paint and perhaps a spider web or two.
A bunch of grapes:
Using green or purple outfits - tights and t-shirts for example, attach balloons of the same colour with safety pins. Paint face and hands same colour. Make a leaf or stalk head decoration out of card.
Rubik's cube:
Decorate of large cardboard box - with head, arms and feet holes - with red, white, green, blue and orange squares. Wear with a black outfit Alternatively, paint white and decorate with spots to create a dice outfit.
