CHURCH volunteers got out the brushes and rollers to lend a hand at a hospice.
Nine members of the Men’s Ministry at Christ Chapel Ministries in Abbey Wood reached for the emulsion last Sunday (June 17) to decorate part of Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.
The ministry’s finance secretary Joseph Lamptey said: “As it was Father’s Day and all-but-one of us is a father we thought we should do something, not only for us but for the community.
The father-of-two added: “We painted a corridor. It was quite a long corridor leading to a seating area and garden. It went really well.”
