BEXLEY residents are being urged to share their memories as part of The Jubilee Time Capsule project.

Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce is supporting the world's largest history project, which collects memories from the last 60 years across the Commonwealth.

The aim is to create an online archive which will allow people from across the UK, the Commonwealth, and the world to upload their personal memories, photographs and videos from any date during the last 60 years.

Memories do not have to be about The Queen or The Royal Family.

Ms Pearce said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for local people to get involved in not only the Diamond Jubilee but also take part in the world’s largest online history project.

"I would encourage people to upload a memory and record a piece of their own personal history for future generations to enjoy."
