A GIANT eight-foot interactive sign has been installed in Gravesend’s Community Square.
Sporting the slogan “GO2012,” the sign will be used during the upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations and has been decorated with a giant union-jack flag.
It will remain in the square, on the roof of the underground car park entrance at the Civic Centre, throughout Euro 2012 football championships and the Olympic Games.
Finishing touches will be added to the sign next week and these include sensors, which will detect passers-by and play music.
The sign will also be the centre piece for the silent disco, being held in the Community Square on the night of the Olympic Games opening ceremony.
Tickets for the disco are on sale now at the Woodville box office or at woodville.co.uk – they cost £8 in advance or £5 on the night.
