Ethically produced Simply Nectar celebrated its tenth anniversary with a revamp – they lost the French labels but retained a taste of Provence.

The range of juices and nectars are available in eight flavours - mango, apricot, raspberry, peach, pear, citron pressé, apple and orange – and are made of pure fruit, containing no additives, pesticides, colourings or refined sugars.

If they do need sweetening only natural lemon and grape juice is used. All the juices and nectars are high in vitamins; the peach drink, for example contains over 200 per cent of the RDA of vitamin c.

Produced in Provence in the south of France, all the fruit used is sourced locally and is organic where possible. The drinks are made in small batches and the site is self-sufficient – for example, any fruit leftovers are turned into a hard matter and fed to livestock and the water used to clean the juicing machinery gets filtered and purified and is also fed to livestock.

The rebrand was aimed at giving the product a more contemporary look. New bottles made the drinks more suitable for consuming on the go and the labels were given a more up to date design replacing the original, old fashioned one.

Simply Nectar is owned by Jeremy Jaffe and Rolf de Polla, founders of Lambeth-based organic food company, What On Earth.
