BROMLEY’S police cadets are already in their uniform and ready to help with people visiting the town centre to see Queen Elizabeth II today.

Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh will arrive in Bromley town centre at 10:30am and attend a preview of a special public event in Queen’s Gardens, to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

They will visit the Glades Shopping Centre and Bromley High Street, before leaving at 11:30am.

The all day public event London as a Global Centre of Fashion will see Queen's Gardens and the Glades Shopping Centre transformed with fashion exhibits, celebrations of British fashion designers from the past 60 years and fashions of the future.

There will be a party atmosphere in Bromley High Street all day with live music, roving entertainers and much more.

Queen's Gardens will be open to the public from 12pm so people can go along and look at the interactive displays and fashion exhibitions.
