YOUNG singers and songwriters competed to win an X Factor-style contest at Dartford Grammar School for Girls.
Year 9 pupils composed songs especially for the contest β now in its 12th year.
Eleven groups took part and were judged by music students from the upper school and their classmates in the audience.
Year 9 pupil Itunu Abolarinwa said: βThe talent was phenomenal with all groups performing with confidence and creativity with inventive backgrounds and videos rolling as they sang.β
First place went to the group My Sweet Harmony, with The Dudettes in second and Brown Dudes in third.
