CHILDREN cooked up a feast to raise money for charity with the help of some food specialists.
Young people at Glebe School in Hawes Lane, West Wickham, took part in Big Breakfast week to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit Children’s Foundation.
Students cooked up and served breakfasts to other pupils and staff everyday for a week, and were joined on one morning by Waitrose food specialists from the Beckenham store who helped them learn how to make a traditional cooked breakfast.
Teacher Sue Shaw, who organised the week, said: “All the students and staff from Glebe School were totally commited to this truly worthy charity and hope to raise at least £200 from the week.”
The Wallace and Gromit Children’s Foundation raises money for sick children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.
