CHARLES Darwin School’s U14 girls’ football team defeated Hayes School 5-0 in the final of the Bromley Cup to complete a double success.
Having retained the Kent Cup in March, the girls were successful once again in the borough-wide competition, much to the delight of coach and PE teacher Alice Curwood.
She said: “The girls have won the double this year, in addition to the school football league for their age group.
“Each and every one of them should be extremely proud of such an amazing achievement.”
The Charles Darwin squad were:Nathalie Green, Sam Harding, Kate Welch, Karis Matthews, Becky Scrivener, Mia Constantinou, Darcy Wells, Frankie Muir, Liana Khan, Jade Gregory, Charlie McCabe, Katie MacMahon, Ellie Griffin and Kaitlin Shulver.
