A MUSEUM will be opening its doors to families for a steam day and Bexley's annual history fayre.
Crossness Engines Industrial Museum, in Belvedere Road, Abbey Wood, will host the events on April 22 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Volunteers have worked hard restoring the site and Victorian pumps with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and the Homes and Communities Agency. Entry to the history fayre is free but tickets to the Beam Engine House cost £5 for people aged over 16.
There is car parking on the site as well as refreshments and a museum shop.
