IT may kick off until October, but Greenwich's popular musical half-marathon is already signing up people to compete.
The annual Run to the Beat event, sponsored by Nike, takes place on October 28 this year.
Winding its way around Greenwich, the race has a unique twist with bands dotted around the course to spur on the runners.
A spokesman said: "Following last year’s event, which saw runners leaving to shouts of encouragement from Reggie Yates and returning to the booming beats of Calvin Harris, we anticipate demand for this unique event to be bigger than ever so sign up now to avoid disappointment."
