Fans and players from Charlton Athletic Football Club will show their support for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice and Demelza Hospice this weekend (Saturday, March 10) at the Notts County home match at The Valley, Floyd Road London with a bucket collection to raise funds.
Charlton Athletic Football Club is twinned with Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice and Demelza Hospice as part of The Football League’s official charity partnership with Help the Hospices, the UK charity for hospice care.
“We have a sturdy team of volunteers lined up for the pre-match collections,” said Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s community fundraiser Julie Lawrie-Raison. “It should be a fantastic match - we’re delighted to have the support of Charlton Athletic.”
The Charlton v Notts County game kicks off on Saturday, 10 March at 3pm and tickets are available from the website www.cafc.co.uk .
