A DRIVER had to be taken to hospital last night (March 6) after his van crashed into a lamp post in Mottingham.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Sidcup Road near Mottingham train station at around 10pm and found the man was suffering from possible spinal injuries.
He was removed from his Peugeot Partner by ambulance crews before being taken to hospital.
It is not yet known whether the man, who is said to be in his 40s, was seriously injured in the collision.
