TOP gymnasts have begun competing at The O2 in the latest Greenwich Olympic test event.

Visa International Gymnastics at The O2 – renamed the North Greenwich Arena for the Games due to sponsorship issues - is the last chance for competitors to qualify for the main event.

Artistic gymnastics and the trampoline competition run until January 13, with rhythmic gymnasts taking part from January 16 to January 18.

Tickets are still available for artistic gymnastic sessions tomorrow (January 11) and January 12.

Tomorrow’s session is where the British men will be looking to qualify a full team for the London 2012.

Olympic organisers Locog’s director of sport Debbie Jevans said: “The event will be used to test our workforce in an already established venue and to test the field of play as it will be at Games time.”
