NEIGHBOURS raised the alarm after an elderly woman had a fall in her home in Orpington today (January 8).
Emergency services were called to the scene in Reed Avenue at around 1.15pm because the neighbours were concerned about the pensioner, who is believed to be in her 80s.
Firefighters got into the home to rescue the woman and she was then taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, by ambulance.
