ABOVE-FREEZING temperatures mean gritters will not be sent out in Bromley tonight.
The mercury is not expected to fall below around 6C so the machines will not be needed to salt the main routes across the borough.
And current forecasts suggest they will not be needed all week as the lowest temperature expected is 2.8C on Thursday night.
Gritters go out to salt Bromley’s main routes when temperatures are predicted to be at or below freezing.
