POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing 77-year-old diabetic man from Bromley.

Giuseppe Marsala was last seen at the Jennings Betting Shop in Cotmandene Crescent, St Paul's Cray, at around 1pm yesterday.

Officers are concerned because he requires regular medication, which he does not have with him, for diabetes and his blood pressure.

They fear he may also be confused about his surroundings.

Mr Marsala has short grey hair and a moustache.

He is approximately 5ft 7in tall and of medium build.

Police say that on the day he disappeared, he was wearing brown boots with two zips on each boot, grey casual trousers, a grey and brown lumber-jack type shirt and a brown suede jacket.

Mr Marsala has family in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Wooton Fields in Northampton as well as Bromley, and it is thought he might travel to these areas.

Anyone with any information should call the Bromley Missing Persons Unit on 020 8284 8766/8897.
