Millwall striker Darius Henderson has been bailed after a man was punched and had his jaw broken on New Year’s Day.
The 41-year-old man was taken by ambulance from a St Albans restaurant at around 1.30am on January 1.
He had been left with a broken jaw after allegedly being struck in the face following an argument at the restaurant.
Henderson, Millwall’s top scorer this season with nine goals, was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm.
The 30-year-old has been bailed until early February.
