HUNDREDS of pounds worth of medical equipment was stolen from a lorry in Dartford this morning. (January 4)
Thieves broke into a vehicle parked on the Riverside Industrial Estate between midnight and 3am, stealing boxes containing the equipment.
Among the items taken were a quantity of nebulizers, used to treat respiratory diseases such as cystic fibrosis and asthma.
The items were stolen from a lorry belonging to freight company Intersped Logistics.
Director Ray Murphy tweeted this morning: “The barmy burglars have stole 'Nebulizers', perhaps for when they finish running off.
“Please look out for 'Philips Respironics Porta-neb' being offered on the street.”
Police say they are examining CCTV footage from the area and anyone with any information should contact them on 101, quoting reference 04-0171.
