A MOTHER has set up a support group for families of people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Nadine Tutty’s son has ADHD so she has been running the group since March to give parents more help dealing with the condition.

The main aim is to provide a relaxed, social atmosphere where people can come to talk about their issues.

Ms Tutty, 34, said: “I needed to be around people who understood me and what my son was up against. I feel there’s a lack of support.

“It’s good to let each other know that there are people out there going through the same thing.”

The group meets every three weeks on a Friday at The Oak Community Church, Chipperfield Road, St Paul’s Cray, between 9.30am and 12pm.

The next meetings will take place on November 4 and 25.
