ROLL up, roll up for David Essex’s award-winning musical All The Fun Of The Fair, which rides into Dartford next month.
Inspired by the 70s pop star’s album of the same name, the show, which started life at The Churchill in Bromley runs at The Orchard Theatre from November 8 to November 12.
David plays fun fair owner Levi Lee, recently widowed and father of a rebellious teenage son.
Danger and mysticism lurks in the future, as predicted by the gypsy fortune teller who is in love with Levi.
Dodgems and motorbikes, crafty cons and candy floss, fairground horses and fights, along with romance and good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll are promised.
But beware, all is not always fun at the fair.
