A DRIVER had to be cut out of his car this morning (October 18) after a crash in Beckenham.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Southend Road at around 6am and firefighters cut a door off the Ford Fiesta so the man could be lifted out.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
His passenger is not believed to have been seriously injured in the crash at the junction with Brackley Road.
The other car involved in the collision, a Toyota Yaris, sustained minor damage.
It is not yet known whether the people inside it were badly injured.
