Youngsters raise £5,165 for Children in Need
YOUNG singers, actors and dancers have raised £5,165 for Children in Need.
The cash was raised by 75 members of the In The Wings Productions, who performed a youth version of the musical Billy Elliot at The Orchard Theatre, Dartford.
A bucket collection and proceeds from the production were donated to the appeal.
Producer of the show, Liz Burville, said: “This is the fourth year we have raised money for Children in Need and we have now raised more than £20,000 in total.
"I am so delighted that as a group we can help such a good cause."
She added: "The whole production was to try and offer children who had never performed before the opportunity to do so, as well having children who are seasoned performers."
