A GROUP of women have raised more than £250 for charity through baking cupcakes in a confidence boosting workshop.
All the women who took part in the Petts Wood workshop had been affected by breast cancer and wanted to do something to support Breast Cancer Care.
The workshop, organised by Moodboost and Buttermilk Barn Cookery School, was aimed at giving women affected by breast cancer more confidence.
They baked more than 100 cupcakes between them, which they went on to sell to raise money for charity.
Cheeta Rawlings, Chef at Buttermilk Barn Cookery School said: “The evening was a real success, not only was our school filled with very talented cooks, but the physical change you saw in the beautifully dressed pink, frilly and sparkly ladies was amazing.
"The hands on cooking in the kitchen allowed the ladies to switch off from their real lives that meant they could relax and really embrace the coaching activity."
