TUMBLE TOTS in Orpington are hoping to raise more than £1,000 for charity after taking part in national children’s activity week.

More than 250 toddlers turned out over the week to take part in rolling classes to raise money for Tommy’s, the only charity in the UK which is solely dedicated to finding treatments to prevent problems in pregnancy.

National children’s activity week, which took place between October 10 and October 14, helps raise awareness about the importance of physical activity for children.

Tracey Harding, who organises Tumble Tots in Orpington, said: “It was really fantastic to see so many tumble tots participating in the week, helping to raise awareness about the importance of an active lifestyle for children, as well as raising money for a great charity at the same time.”
