Two Greenwich police officers still under investigation over theft allegations
TWO Greenwich police officers are still under investigation over theft allegations.
Three constables based in Greenwich borough were arrested last week on suspicion of theft.
The officers were arrested in their homes on October 13 at 12.45am.
Two of the men, who are aged 29 and 45, have been bailed until December 8.
The third man, aged 37, has been released with no further action.
A Met Police spokesman said the men had been arrested by the force’s Directorate of Professional Standards “as part of a proactive operation.”
