RELIGIOUS members from across the world met in Petts Wood to worship and discuss the future of their church.
Around 75 representatives from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of England [ELCE] from across the UK, as well as visitors from India, Croatia and France, joined together at Christ Lutheran Church, Petts Wood, for their annual Synod.
The Synod is an opportunity for members to come together to worship and make plans for the current year.
Pastor Jon Ehlers, chairman of the ELCE at Christ Church, said: “It was a very lively and energetic Synod.
“One of the highlights was hearing from our visitors who told us about the struggles of their churches. It was really interesting listening to their stories.”
