A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy is in hospital with a fractured skull and broken leg after running into the road in Penge and being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Thornsett Place, off Croydon Road, at around 4.40pm on Saturday (October 15) and the child was taken to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill.
It was initially believed his injuries were life threatening but his condition is now said to be much improved and he is now awake, talking and eating.
There have been no arrests.
