A MOTORCYCLIST is in hospital with life threatening injuries after a collision with a bus in Sydenham.
Police were called at around 8.45am yesterday to the incident on Kirkdale near the Cobbs Corner roundabout.
The rider was taken to hospital suffering from injuries that were being treated as life threatening.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said:“We were called at 8.25am yesterday to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus and a motorbike on Kirkdale.”
“We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene.
“Our staff treated one patient, a 37-year-old man. He was given pain relief at the scene and then taken as a priority to Kings College Hospital with a pelvis injury.”
Road closures were in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
