TWO police community support officers from Bromley have been charged with conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office.

PCSOs Oguz Batmaz, 26, and Nicholas Goodwin, 24, from the Mottingham and Chislehurst North Safer Neighbourhood Team, are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 22.

Batmaz is also accused of conspiring to steal cannabis, supply cannabis and cocaine and wilfully neglecting to perform his duties.

The pair, who are currently suspended, are among 12 people from south east London and north Kent charged as part of an investigation by the Met Police’s Directorate of Professional Standards.

Emma Tooke, aged 31, of Crown Lane, Bromley, was charged with harbouring a person unlawfully at large.

Aaron Eastwood, aged 31, of School Lane, Bean, was charged with conspiring with PCSO Batmaz to commit misconduct in public office and to steal cannabis with others.

David Hazell, aged 45, of Clare Way, Bexleyheath, was charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and cannabis.

Ayhun Mustafa, aged 28, of Westerham Drive, Sidcup; James Morphew, aged 26, of Pitfield, Hartley; and Wayne Farrell, aged 33, of Eastnor Road, New Eltham were all charged with conspiring with PCSO Batmaz and others to commit misconduct in public office.

Anthony Noble, aged 28, of Church Walk, Wilmington, was charged with conspiring to supply cocaine.

Kadir Ozresberoglu, aged 24, of Curran Avenue, Sidcup, was charged with conspiring with PCSO Batmaz to commit misconduct in public office and conspiring to supply cocaine and cannabis.

Lee Hession, aged 29, of Keats Road, Welling, was charged with conspiring with PCSO Batmaz and others to commit misconduct in public office and conspiring to steal cannabis.

Felipe Defreitas, aged 24, from Brixton, was charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and cannabis.

All are due to appear before Westminster magistrates from September 22.
