A HEALTH centre created by a group of doctors has been officially opened.
The NHS Clover Health Centre, in General Gordon Square, Woolwich, includes a walk-in service where people can see a GP without being registered or having an appointment.
It also offers foot care, diabetic care, minor surgery, breast screening, smear tests and help to quit smoking.
Catering for people in the town centre, it is run by Greenwich Primary Care Collaborative, a social enterprise run by GPs in the area.
It is based on the first floor of Equitable House, a listed building opposite Woolwich Arsenal train station, and the collaborative says all profits made will be put back into its services.
The centre was opened by Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer.
