A FAMILY fun day has raised £3,000 for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.
Presenter of CBeebies, Andy Day, officially opened the event on Bostall Heath, Abbey Wood, and signed autographs for fans.
He said: “I know David Carmichael from Tan’Gun Taekwondo Academy so when he asked me to get involved I just couldn’t refuse. It’s for such a great cause.”
Live music, a classic car show and children's rides were on offer throughout the day.
There were also 60 stalls selling crafts, plants, books and bric-a-brac.
Community fundraiser at the Hospice, Susan Adams, said: “I’d like to thank everyone for coming along and for making every effort to stay as long as possible in such awful weather conditions.”
