THE mum of schoolboy Kaine May, who died after being hit by a car, has paid tribute to her “beautiful” son.

Michelle Stevenson says the loss of 14-year-old Kaine, who was killed on the A20 on the border of Chislehurst and Sidcup on Sunday afternoon, has left the “biggest hole” in her heart.

Miss Stevenson says Kaine, who lived in Bexley and attended Kemnal Technology College, was “never any trouble”, “well mannered”, and “loving”.

She said: "Words cannot express how we feel and how much we are all going to miss you.

"I can't believe I will never kiss your little soft face again.”

She added: "You were such a beautiful baby, never any trouble, well mannered, loving and always concerned for me and helpful.

"I am so very proud to be your mum and so wish I could have seen you grow and have a family of your own.

"I will miss you so so much – you have left the biggest hole in my heart that no one could ever repair.”

Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene of the crash and outside Kemnal Technology College, and a Facebook tribute page for Kaine has more than 4,000 supporters.
