CHILDREN took part in a craft session to make secret agent disguise accessories.
The event at Blackheath Village Library, Blackheath Grove, formed part of the summer-long Reading Mission challenge run by the Reading Agency.
The annual challenge encourages children aged between four and 12 to read six books during the summer holidays.
This year's theme is secret agents and around 12 youngsters took part in the hour-long session last month and made hats. Others donned fake noses and moustaches.
Library manager Elisabeth Adams says the activities are meant to make reading more fun.
She said: "Reading is supposed to be fun and relaxing, not a chore, and this is what this activity is all about.
"The Alex Grant books by Anthony Horowitz about a teenage secret agent has been a very popular read and children drew inspiration from that when making their disguises."
