Starring: Danny Dyer, Laura Harris, Toby Stephens. Directed by Christopher Smith (Creep). Rating: 4/5 - exciting, funny British horror that is as good as classics like Shaun Of the Dead, The Descent and 28 Days Later. Review by Tim Porter.
Danny Dyer stars in the second feature film from Creep director Christopher Smith.
This modern-day tells the tale of a group of Brit office stereotypes who go on a team-building trip to a remote Romanian log cabin in the forest.
Suddenly a normal team-building trip turns in a living hell.
This rare comedy horror is as scary as The Descent and funnier than Shaun Of the Dead.
Danny Dyer is superb as the sex-crazed, drug-taking Steve, and the supporting cast are as good as Dyer.
This film is one of the funniest British horror films in many years.
From the get-go expect non-stop jokes, horror gore and Danny Dyer stealing the show.
A very pleasurable experience but not as gory as I expected - but the jokes make up for the lack of gore.
