St George's Church in Beckenham High Street
A CHOIR is holding a carol service to raise money for a charity for blind people.
Beckenham Chorale, a mixed choir with around 70 singers, will perform festive songs at St George's Church in Beckenham High Street from 7.45pm on Saturday.
Money raised from the concert will go to charity The Bromley District Talking News, a free weekly talking newspaper on CD which is given to around 350 blind and partially sighted residents.
Choir member Jenny Carrington said: “The charity relies entirely on donations and is run by volunteers who ensure the Talking News is produced, copied and delivered each week without fail.”
