CATFORD: 999 call after boy spotted on icy pond
EMERGENCY services were called after reports of a boy on the ice at the Peter Pan Pond near Homebase in Catford.
They received a 999 call at around 2pm on Tuesday (December 7) from a man saying he had seen a boy trying to get a football.
Ambulance, police and firefighters went to the scene in Beckenham Hill Road but could not find the child.
