TOUCHSCREEN self-help kiosks are being installed at the borough’s citizens advice bureaux so more people can benefit from advice.
The devices will enable people to get information more quickly and easily and free up adviser time so they can deal with more complex problems face-to-face.
Advice on offer through the kiosks at the bureaux in Bromley, Beckenham and Orpington will include welfare benefits, health, housing, relationships, consumer and money issues, legal matters and maternity rights.
The one at the Bromley CAB, Community House, South Street, Bromley, is up and running with the one in Orpington expected to be installed shortly and the Beckenham one will follow afterwards.
The kiosks were bought thanks to a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
