TALENTED singers at a care home for disabled people have won an X Factor style competition.
Staff and residents at the Sanctuary Carr-Gomm home for adults with physical and learning disabilities in Park Road, Bromley, triumphed in the S Factor talent show in Grayshott, Hampshire.
Their group rendition of the Sonny and Cher hit ‘I Got You Babe’ was judged the best performance, beating acts from eight other Sanctuary care homes in the south east.
Manager of the home, Jackie Ames, said: “All of our residents really enjoyed taking part in the competition. We were all over the moon to win, it made all the rehearsing worthwhile.”
