PLANS to change a bungalow into a doctors’ surgery are being opposed by people living nearby.
Residents of Southcroft Road in Orpington have launched a petition against Dr Rishikaesan Gnanachelvan’s application to turn number 29 into a GP surgery.
Alexander Watts, aged 74, who lives a near from the proposed bungalow, said: “This road is quite busy as it is, so it’s stupid to put a doctors’ surgery here.
“The road will be congested with the traffic of people going to and from the surgery and people parking outside when they’ve got an appointment.”
Mr Watts says the petition will be handed to Bromley Council, which is expected to make a decision on the application next month.
