THE woman who died after being hit by a train at Petts Wood train station yesterday was a 52-year-old from Bromley.
Emergency services attended the scene at around 10.20am but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and British Transport Police is preparing a file for the coroner.
The train involved was the 9.21am service from Tunbridge Wells to Charing Cross.
