LOCALS will be lovin' it when a £2.3million investment in Woowich creates 75 new jobs.
A new drive-thru McDonald’s restaurant is set to open in Pettman Crescent, Woolwich on December 3, giving the area a £2.3million boost to its economy.
The opening will create over 75 new jobs, spanning all levels from crew through to management positions.
The restaurant franchisee, Taimoor Sheikh said: “At a time when local economies would benefit from a boost, it’s good news that we’ve been able to create around 75 new jobs.”
“We recruit on qualities, not qualifications, so we hope that the roles we’ve made available will appeal to a broad spectrum of the local community.”
