A REMEMBERANCE service will commemorate those who lost their lives serving their country.
Stone Parish Council is organising the event at the Community Hall, Hayes Road, Stone on Sunday November 14.
The service, will also be attended by local ministers, the British Legion and local uniformed groups.
Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Thurza Richards said: “The council feel that is important to pay respect to the people that lose their lives fighting for this country.
“This event allows us to just stop for a moment and consider the bravery and integrity of these soldiers and demonstrate that we truly appreciate their efforts.”
A parade starts 2.45pm recreation ground car park on London Road, and will proceed to the War Memorial for the service at 3pm.
