CAMPAIGNERS fighting to save five libraries from the axe will hold a carnival march tomorrow (Oct 30).
People will meet up at Crofton Park Library at 12.30pm before heading off towards Lewisham Town Hall for a rally and speeches.
The march is expected to take around one hour.
Lewisham Council is proposing to close libraries in Crofton Park, Sydenham, New Cross, Grove Park and Blackheath as part of budget savings.
Marchers are encouraged to wear bright clothes or dress up as literary characters while bringing bells and whistles.
