YOUNGSTERS will be making bangers before watching big bangs on Guy Fawkes Night when they take part in a sausage festival.
Year Five pupils from St Joseph’s School in Plaistow Lane, Bromley have been invited to Villagers Sausages in Beckenham High Street on Friday (November 5) for a banger making masterclass.
The children will have the chance to invent their own sausage recipe, and the best new creation will go on sale, with all proceeds going to Great Ormond Street Hospital for children in London.
Ron Etheridge, owner of Villagers Sausages, said: “This is a great occasion, raising money for a worthwhile cause and hopefully giving inspiration to budding little chefs out there.”
